Many back, neck and shoulder complaints develop slowly, from hours of sitting in the same position. With a few adjustments you prevent a lot of discomfort.
Change position often
Not the perfect posture, but variation counts. Stand up regularly, walk a little and change your sitting position. A short movement break every half hour already does a lot.
Set up your workspace well
Screen at eye level, feet flat on the floor and forearms relaxed on the desk. Small adjustments lower the strain on neck and shoulders.
Keep moving
Complaints that persist do not have to be accepted. A physiotherapist looks at your posture and gives targeted exercises to become stronger and more supple.
